Colton Pearson Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Centerville's Colton Pearson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pearson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.
The win (which was Centerville's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Michael Sullivan Leads Corrigan-Camden over Groveton
On Friday, Corrigan-Camden got the W thanks in part to Michael Sullivan playing the best football he has all season. Sullivan rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 72 yards.
Corrigan-Camden pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Sullivan's next match is against Hearne on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
