Rincon/University won the last time they faced Maricopa and things went their way on Friday too. The Rangers blew past the Rams, posting a 62-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Maricopa's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Auciana Miguel, who posted eight points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyaila Miguel, who had five points.

Rincon/University has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Maricopa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rincon/University has already played their next game, a 73-49 defeat against Pueblo on the 24th. As for Maricopa, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunnyslope at 7:00 p.m. on December 1.
