Bozeman strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Brewbaker Tech Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bucks have posted since April 11, 2025.

Nya Bautista tossed a big game, tossing 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Presley Thomason was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Santiago, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Bozeman's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Brewbaker Tech, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Bozeman will be taking part in a tournament against Destin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brewbaker Tech, they will take on Chiles in a tournament on Saturday. The Timberwolves' pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
