After a string of four wins, St. Michael's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the El Capitan Eagles. Considering the last time the Cardinals couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

St. Michael's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 26-12. As for El Capitan, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. St. Michael will venture away from home to challenge Mogollon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Capitan, they will head out to face off against Ash Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
