Newark waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans by a score of 2-0. The Norsemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Newark was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14.

Heather Buhle paced Newark's offense, picking up nine kills. Buhle got some help from Taylor Jeffers and her 12 assists.

Newark's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-20-1.

Newark didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mooseheart on the 27th. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Earlville on the 22nd.
