Acadiana came out on top against New Iberia on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Rams came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 6-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets on Wednesday, they had to take a 6-1 loss.

Acadiana's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for New Iberia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-9 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Acadiana will take on rival Carencro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Iberia is set to square off against their familiar foe Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
