Seven Oaks Classical waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They took down the Union Rockets 43-28. This was payback for the Firehawks, who suffered a 49-26 loss the last time these two teams met.

Seven Oaks Classical got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Easton out in front who went 5 of 10 en route to 10 points. Macy Bush was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 boards.

Seven Oaks Classical was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Union only posted two assists.

Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kenzy Ogden, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Ogden is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Glory Ellis, who posted seven points and 14 rebounds.

Seven Oaks Classical's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Seven Oaks Classical is taking a road trip to square off against Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union, they will host Muncie Burris at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
