After flying high against Lenoir City on Thursday, Hardin Valley Academy came back down to earth. The Hawks fell 2-0 to the Philip Barbour Colts on Friday. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hardin Valley Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Philip Barbour work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13.

Hardin Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Philip Barbour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hardin Valley Academy and Philip Barbour will both be playing Hebron Christian the next time they take the court. The Colts will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
