Basketball Game Preview: Peaster Greyhounds vs. Breckenridge Buckaroos

Peaster is on a four-game streak of home losses, Breckenridge a 14-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Peaster Greyhounds will welcome the Breckenridge Buckaroos at 6:15 p.m. Peaster's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Breckenridge's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Peaster's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Comanche offense got past them. Peaster took a blow against Comanche on Friday, falling 67-24. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 759th, while the Indians are ranked 217th).

Meanwhile, Breckenridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 31-27 to Millsap.

Peaster's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Breckenridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-29.

Peaster didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Breckenridge in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 33-28 win. Will Peaster repeat their success, or does Breckenridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
