Football Recap: Tumwater Falls to Puyallup in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Tumwater kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 25-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Puyallup Vikings. While the Thunderbirds had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Vikings 6-0.

The critical scores for Puyallup came from Briytan Bailey and Luke Parker.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tumwater will venture away from home to square off against Bainbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Puyallup, they will head out to take on Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
