Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for University Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Caldwell Academy, University Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 32-27 victory over the Statesville Christian Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-29 back in January.

University Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinsley Tompkins out in front who posted 13 points. Ellie Adams was another key player, putting up ten points.

University Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.8 points over those games. As for Statesville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

As of now, neither University Christian nor Statesville Christian have any future games scheduled.
