Softball Recap: Spokane Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Spokane had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Licking Wildcats 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Owls have posted since April 13th.

Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Licking, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Spokane didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 loss against Hollister on the 2nd. As for Licking, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Conway on the 2nd.
