Softball Recap: Fort Scott Takes a Loss

Fort Scott and Eudora squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fort Scott had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Fort Scott now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Eudora, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Fort Scott will challenge Clearwater at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eudora, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against McPherson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bullpups will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
