Baseball Recap: CHAAMP HomeSchool Victorious

While CHAAMP HomeSchool's win against Tyler HEAT wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks skirted past Tyler HEAT 4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was David Harrison, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Harrison a new career-high. Eli Hefner also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

CHAAMP HomeSchool's record is now 2-3. As for Tyler HEAT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, CHAAMP HomeSchool will welcome Varsity Opponent at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tyler HEAT, they will venture away from home to challenge Slocum at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
