Soccer Recap: Providence Day Comes Up Short

Providence Day managed to keep up with Covenant Day until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Chargers came up short against the Lions, falling 6-0. Providence Day were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Covenant Day apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence Day and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Covenant Day, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Providence Day didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Charlotte Country Day School on the 11th. As for Covenant Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Marvin Ridge on the 11th.
