Basketball Recap: Marco Island Academy Takes a Loss

Marco Island Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 52-38 fall against the Golden Gate Titans. The Rays were not able to make up for their loss to the Titans from their previous meeting back in December of 2020.

Marco Island Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Golden Gate, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Marco Island Academy will take on Babcock in a tournament on Friday. As for Golden Gate, they will host Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
