Basketball Recap: Wellspring Prep Takes a Loss

Wellspring Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 54-10 loss at the hands of the Potter's House Christian Pumas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Potter's House Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-20 back in January.

Wellspring Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Potter's House Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

Wellspring Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Potter's House Christian, they will challenge Calvin Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Calvin Christian has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
