Basketball Recap: Tensas Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Tensas Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 76-63 win over the Mt. Salus Christian Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Chiefs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

John Robin had an outrageously good game as he posted 31 points. Another player making a difference was Tobie Matthews, who scored 18 points.

Mt. Salus Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tensas Academy will venture away from home to take on Union Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Salus Christian, they will head out to face off against Porter's Chapel Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th.
