Baseball Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the United Longhorns. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Laredo LBJ saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Enrique Loyola, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for United, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

While Laredo LBJ had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
