Basketball Recap: Rogers Finds Home Court Redemption Against Wilson

There's no place like home for Rogers, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They greeted the New Year with with a 50-34 victory over the Wilson Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Warriors back in December of 2024, they had to take a 62-54 defeat.

Rogers' win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Wilson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.

Rogers will take on Clements at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Collinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson is facing Collinwood at the right time seeing as Collinwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
