Football Preview: JSerra Catholic Lions vs. Canyon Comanches        
        
		
             JSerra Catholic is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Canyon is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The JSerra Catholic Lions will welcome the Canyon Comanches  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both  have allowed few  points on average, (JSerra Catholic: 13.2, Canyon: 9.4) so any  points scored will be well earned.
 JSerra Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of California's top teams: Santa Margarita, who was ranked sixth  in their home state at the time (JSerra Catholic was ranked fourth). JSerra Catholic won a  match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Santa Margarita 20-19.
 The match pitted two dominant  signal callers against one another in  Ava Van Heerde and  Madi Lam. Van Heerde had a great game last Tuesday and threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes. Meanwhile,  Lam was balling out in the loss, throwing for 258 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 52 yards on only seven carries.
 Meanwhile, Canyon didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Aliso Niguel on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a  19-14 win.
