Mount Juliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 75-61 fall against the Marshall County Tigers. One positive for the Golden Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Jabrae Howard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Marshall County, going 7 for 13 on his way to 25 points. Howard's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Mosley, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Mount Juliet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Marshall County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Mount Juliet won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall County, they will take on Fayetteville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
