Ridgeline faced Green Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Riverhawks who were credited with the win. The Ridgeline Riverhawks got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Green Canyon Wolves' four. The victory was nothing new for Ridgeline as they're now sitting on four straight.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Gerardo Vargas, who's now up to four this season.

Ridgeline pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Green Canyon, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
