Volleyball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Comes Up Short

Sugar Creek Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jackson Day Mariners, falling 3-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mariners when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Sugar Creek Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jackson Day, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Sugar Creek Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy on the 28th. As for Jackson Day, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rocky River on the 27th.
