Volleyball Recap: Harding University Rams vs. Hough Huskies
Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hough Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-8, 25-7.
Leading Hough to victory were Ava Clayton and Eve Kennedy. Clayton had 15 aces, while Kennedy had nine aces. Those nine aces gave Kennedy a new career-high.
Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Hough, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing West Mecklenburg the next time they take the court. Hough will head out to face West Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Harding University will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
