Basketball Recap: De La Salle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact De La Salle can now relate to. They fell to Thomas Jefferson 73-69. The Cavalier were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Thomas Jefferson apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

De La Salle has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-14 record this season. The victory (which was Thomas Jefferson's 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thomas Jefferson beat De La Salle by a score of 73-69 on Tuesday.
