Softball Recap: Wellsville Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wellsville's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Columbiana Clippers on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wellsville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbiana, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wellsville will face off against rival United at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Columbiana is set to challenge their familiar foe East Palestine at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
