Soccer Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders. If Lee were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Muskegon Catholic Central when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee will square off against Grand River Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lee will be up against Grand River Prep's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.6 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, they will challenge Zion Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Zion Christian's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Muskegon Catholic Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.
