Volleyball Recap: Madison Prep Academy Wins Going Away Against St. John

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Madison Prep Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the St. John Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. Madison Prep Academy was shut out 2-0 the last time they took on St. John, so Madison Prep Academy was just returning the favor.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Madison Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9-1 record this season. As for St. John, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Prep Academy will welcome Christ Episcopal School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. John, they will be playing at home against White Castle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
