Volleyball Recap: Second Baptist University-Model Extends Winning Streak to Three

Second Baptist University-Model entered their tilt with Tournament Team on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against Tournament Team by a score of 2-0. While the Eagle didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Ava Yaw paced Second Baptist University-Model's offense, picking up 11 kills. Yaw got some help from Micah Yaw and her three assists. Micah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Second Baptist University-Model's win bumped their record up to 13-3-1.

Second Baptist University-Model wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against School of the Woods on the 12th. As for Tournament Team, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Fellowship Baptist Academy on the 13th.
