Softball Recap: Era Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Era's offense. They came up short against the Bells Panthers on Saturday, falling 16-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Era dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bells, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-1 record this season.

Era has already played their next contest (against North Hopkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bells, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bells Panthers take on Pottsboro Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Their pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Pottsboro's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
