Basketball Recap: Germantown Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ian Francis and Jonah Shreves

Germantown Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 60-38 to Milford Christian. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Conquerors of the 57-19 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Germantown Christian had strong showings from Jonah Shreves, who posted ten points and three steals, and Ian Francis, who scored ten points. Zane Nelson also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Germantown Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Milford Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Germantown Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milford Christian, they will be playing at home against Hillsboro Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
