Basketball Game Preview: Baldwin Bulldogs vs. Spring Hill Broncos

Baldwin and Spring Hill are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Baldwin Bulldogs will face off against the Spring Hill Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Baldwin is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Hayden just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 63-49 fall against the Wildcats. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Wildcats are ranked 170th).

Meanwhile, Spring Hill came up short against Gardner-Edgerton on Friday and fell 61-48. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baldwin's defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. As for Spring Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Baldwin took their win against Spring Hill in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 48-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Baldwin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
