Recap: Foran Lions vs. Law Lawmen
The Foran Lions won the last time they faced the Law Lawmen, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Foran came out on top against Law by a score of 55-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Foran.
Foran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Deitelbaum, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Deitelbaum is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Maddie Deldin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Foran's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Law, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
Foran will be playing at home against Hand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hand is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Law, they will head out on the road to square off against Amistad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Amistad is ranked 92nd, while Law is ranked 112th).
