First Flight piles up the points against Wheatmore

Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Wheatmore Warriors

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northeastern, the First Flight Nighthawks were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They blew past Wheatmore 65-32 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory First Flight has managed all season.

It was another big night for Mason Dobie, who scored 24 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of First Flight's points. Another player making a difference was Carson Hahne, who scored 11 points.

Robert Nyamongo and Finley Bryant certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Nyamongo scored eight points along with 11 rebounds, while Bryant scored 12 points along with three steals. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.

First Flight's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Wheatmore, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
