Soccer Game Preview: Abington Heights vs. Radnor

The Abington Heights Comets will square off against the Radnor Raptors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Abington Heights' favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last eight contests.

Abington Heights is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Shikellamy a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Abington Heights, who have now won 16 matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Lilia Calvert and Allison Stanton scored all six of Abington Heights' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 89 goals.

Meanwhile, Radnor won against Conestoga back in October with one goal and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Raptors beat Susquehannock by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that Radnor have won by just one goal.

Abington Heights' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matches. As for Radnor, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
