Basketball Recap: Lee's Summit Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lee's Summit entered their contest against Raytown on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lee's Summit Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to the Raytown Bluejays. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Lee's Summit's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5. As for Raytown, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Lee's Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-50 defeat against Washington on the 22nd. As for Raytown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-55 victory against Lee's Summit West on the 24th.
