Basketball Recap: New Town Comes Up Short

New Town was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 46-30 to the Roland Park Country Reds. New Town was not able to make up for their defeat to Roland Park Country from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

New Town's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Roland Park Country, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

New Town will face off against Overlea at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Roland Park Country, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop Spalding at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Archbishop Spalding has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
