Volleyball Recap: Olympic Heights' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After a string of six wins, Olympic Heights's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Vista Cobras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Victor Hauari paced Olympic Heights' offense, picking up 21 kills. Hauari got some help from CJ Ehrhardt and his 46 assists. Dymittry Terra controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Olympic Heights' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Park Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Olympic Heights and Stoneman Douglas will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Park Vista, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 22nd.
