It was fun while it lasted, but Ridgeview Christian's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They took a hard 44-28 fall against the Grace Christian Warriors. The loss was the Crusaders' first of the season.

Grace Christian had a senior duo take command as Aubrey Greenmun went 8 of 14 en route to 21 points along with six assists and five steals and Kaitlyn Harper went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Those six assists gave Greenmun a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Graycie Kincheloe, who posted six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ridgeview Christian fell to 3-1. As for Grace Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Ridgeview Christian will take on Blue Ridge Christian in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian, they and Buffalo Gap will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Grace Christian's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Buffalo Gap's offense will have their work cut out for them.
