Basketball Recap: Perryville Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Perryville Pirates had to suffer through a 94-62 loss at the hands of the East Prairie Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

Perryville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for East Prairie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Perryville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-47 win against DeSoto on the 29th. As for East Prairie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-31 victory against Twin Rivers on the 28th.
