Volleyball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

After flying high against Meadowbrook on Monday, Hermitage came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the J.R. Tucker Tigers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for J.R. Tucker, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hermitage is set to take on their familiar foe Deep Run at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, J.R. Tucker will face off against rival Godwin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
