Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Spaulding

Spaulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Manchester Memorial Crusaders, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, Spaulding can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Manchester Memorial are ranked 14th).

Spaulding has now lost 14 of their last 15 games at home. That's part of the reason why they have an 0-15-1 record this season. As for Manchester Memorial, they have been performing well recently, winning eight of their last 10 matchups. That run has powered them to a 10-2-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Spaulding will take on their in-conference opponent Londonderry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Manchester Memorial is set to challenge their familiar foe Bedford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
