Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Denver Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Swink Lions on Friday, falling 3-0. The Thunder's loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Denver Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Swink, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.
