Softball Recap: Sky View Bobcats vs. Box Elder Bees
Sky View lost against Box Elder back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sky View Bobcats wound up on the wrong side of a rough 13-3 walloping at the hands of the Box Elder Bees. Sky View has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sky View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tawnee Lundahl, who went 1-for-2 with a double.
On Box Elder's side, Kellie Malan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Malan has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Malan was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexis Hales, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
