Basketball Recap: Cuba/Spoon River Valley Takes a Loss

Cuba/Spoon River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 44-34 to the Brimfield Indians. The Wildcats were probably out for revenge after losing 45-33 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Brimfield, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will welcome Rushville-Industry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brimfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monmouth-Roseville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
