             The High Point Christian Academy Cougars's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (High Point Christian Academy: 17.6, Harrells Christian Academy: 13) so any  points scored will be well earned.
 High Point Christian Academy gave up the first  points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. In a tight  contest that could have gone either way, they made off with  a  22-21 win over Charlotte Country Day School. The 22-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring  match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Meanwhile, Harrells Christian Academy came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Knights 34-18. The Crusaders' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Demetrius Jones and  he. Jones rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns while  he rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.  Jarrod Miller showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.  Jeremiah Davis made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Harrells Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 239  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Raleigh Christian Academy only rushed for 43.
 High Point Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Harrells Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
 Everything came up roses for High Point Christian Academy against Harrells Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  33-0 victory.
