Marian lost to Millard North back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Crusaders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Erin Cramer paced Marian's offense, picking up eight kills. Cramer got some help from Sami Curnyn and her 11 assists. Cramer was also a major player on defense: she and Annabella Suljuzovic shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Marian's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Millard North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marian is set to challenge their familiar foe Bellevue East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Millard North will take on rival Papillion-LaVista on Tuesday.
