After a string of three wins, Servite's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the JSerra Catholic Lions by a score of 2-1. The Friars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Servite's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for JSerra Catholic, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-8.

While Servite had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
