Baseball Recap: Depew Takes a Loss

Depew lost to Webbers Falls back in March of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carson Kinney was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyler Fenton, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI.

Depew's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Webbers Falls, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

As of now, neither Depew nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
